When starting a new journey or looking to brush up on new information we’re always looking for good resources right?  I have compiled a list of all my favorite books, podcasts, websites, people, social accounts that I think you will find helpful.

Read below for all of the noteworthy resources I have found along the way during my health journey. Some resources are specific to a Paleo approach while others are more general health and wellness information!


PODCASTS:

Podcasts are my favorite way to absorb information. Because there are no excuses with this one! You can listen to it almost anywhere/anytime. My morning consists of driving to work with a good cup of coffee and a podcast bluetooth to the car, and I enjoy this time so much! You can also listen while on a walk, run, folding laundry, making dinner or even taking a shower!

BOOKS:

Most of my pleasure reading is in the form of self development books. I have come across a couple nutrition books that have been a significant help and are easy to read:

Paleo Principles by Sarah Ballantyne ( don’t let the size of this book turn you off, it is an EXCELLENT resource to have on hand)

-Comprehensive book on all things paleo, real food, recipes, understanding the science and building a foundation for optimal health.

Food: What the Heck Should I Eat? By Mark Hyman M.D.

-Each chapter covers a different category of food ( meat, dairy, vegetables, fruits, fats etc) and breaks down what we should eat and why, plus the science behind it. Easy to read!
